What we collect, and why
BumpJive stores only the minimum needed to issue and verify your tickets: your name, email, and phone number if you choose to verify it. For payment proofs we keep a declared amount, a reference string, and an irreversible SHA-256 fingerprint of your screenshot. The image itself never leaves your device, and no bank or card details are stored.
To detect repeated proof abuse, checkout also sends hashed device and browser identifiers plus the time taken to submit. The raw browser details and the local random identifier are not sent. These signals are used only for proof-risk routing and fraud audit, not advertising; they follow the same account deletion and legal-retention rules as the proof record.
Organisers who verify their identity share an ID document; guests only ever see the organiser’s public name. Communication logs are deleted automatically after 90 days, and scan records at the gate are kept pseudonymised for fraud-audit integrity.
We never sell your data, and nothing about your account is shared with an organiser beyond what they need to admit you: your name, your ticket, and its status.
Your rights
You can see everything we hold about you from your account pages, correct it in Settings, and erase it below. Erasure removes your personal details and communication history; pseudonymised audit records that can’t identify you are retained where the law requires. Questions or requests: support@bumpjive.com.
