Terms of service

The agreement between you and BumpJive when you use the app. Effective 17 July 2026.

1. What BumpJive is

BumpJive is a ticketing platform: organisers publish events and issue digital tickets; guests reserve, hold, and present those tickets at the gate. BumpJive does not process payments. Money moves directly between you and the organiser through the payment channels the organiser lists; BumpJive verifies the proof of payment you submit and activates your ticket when it checks out.

2. Your account

You need an account to hold tickets or run events. Keep your sign-in details private: your ticket QR admits whoever presents it first, and anyone with your account holds your tickets. You must give accurate details: payment verification matches the name and reference on your proof against your account. One person, one account.

3. Tickets, reservations, and cancellation

Reserving a ticket holds a spot while you pay. A reservation with no proof of payment is released after the hold window and the spot is offered to the waitlist. Submit your proof promptly to keep it. You can release an unpaid reservation yourself at any time from your wallet. Paid tickets are cancelled or refunded by the organiser, on the organiser’s refund terms; BumpJive does not hold or return money. Passing a ticket to someone else must go through the app’s share or resale flows. A screenshot of a QR code is not a ticket, and the live code changes every minute.

4. Organisers

Organisers are responsible for their events: accurate listings, honouring issued tickets, reviewing payment proofs in good time, and handling refunds when an event changes or is cancelled. BumpJive is not a party to the sale between organiser and guest. Organisers must only use guest details for running the event they were collected for.

5. Fair use

Don’t submit forged or altered payment proofs, present tickets you don’t hold, scrape the platform, interfere with entry scanning, or use BumpJive for anything unlawful. Fraudulent proofs are flagged on your verification history; repeated or serious abuse suspends the account. Suspected fraud at the gate is the organiser’s call on entry.

6. Liability

BumpJive provides the platform “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we are not liable for events being changed or cancelled, disputes between guests and organisers, or losses from sharing your account or ticket codes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Your data, changes, and contact

How we handle personal data, and how to delete your account, is set out in the privacy notice. We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes are announced in the app, and continuing to use BumpJive after a change means you accept it. Questions: support@bumpjive.com.
